Level 3 Certified CrossFit Trainer
COACH / CF-L3 Trainer
With over a decade of coaching experience and thousands of hours spent on the gym floor, Kodi has built his coaching philosophy around helping people become healthier, more capable, and more confident both inside and outside the gym.
Over the years, CrossFit became more than just training for Kodi. It became a vehicle for growth, challenge, and connection. Through coaching people of all experience levels, he has learned that the best coaches are not simply the loudest voices in the room, but the ones who can create trust, inspire confidence, and help people believe they are capable of more than they originally thought.
In every class he coaches, Kodi asks people to do five things:
• Be safe and consistent. Health and longevity come first. Showing up consistently and taking care of yourself—and those around you—is the foundation for progress.
• Challenge yourself. Growth happens outside of comfort zones. Whether it’s learning a new movement or pushing through a difficult workout, the obstacle is the way.
• Be coachable. Feedback is a gift. Coaches are there to help people become the best version of themselves. Leave your ego at the door.
• Ask questions. Understanding leads to improvement. Curiosity creates better people and stronger coaches.
• Have fun. CrossFit is hard, but it should also bring joy. The best part of training is getting to suffer, laugh, compete, and celebrate alongside other people.
Kodi believes great coaching is about creating an environment where people feel supported, challenged, and excited to come back tomorrow. And the next day. And the next.
