A NEW YEAR WITH NEW GOALS AND RESOLUTIONS
So your goal is to lose weight? That is going to be our MAIN GOAL- It is a very broad goal so from our MAIN GOAL we will need to write out smaller obtainable goals into a list and these will be our working goals for the year. How do we lose weight- workout routine, nutrition (stay away from "diets"), community, and being confident are just some things I feel all combine to help reach the goal of weightless. Write out a list like this and place it somewhere you see daily:
MAIN GOAL- Weight Loss
1)- Be active- gym membership- running/walking- whatever you can do
2)- Nutrition- Learn about eating clean, fueling your body with the proper nutrition- DO NOT buy into quick fixes or fad diets- some work temporary but learning how to cook and fuel your body with the write foods will last you a lifetime
3)- Community- Find accountability in friends and family. You can find this at work, church, or in our case at the gym.
4)- Confidence- Be confident. You can accomplish anything you work towards, but it takes planning and obedience.
The biggest thing I want to stress this year is we DO NOT have to go at it alone. At CFT there are coaches, members, family, and friends who all are trying to better their lives and we should all hold each other accountable while encouraging each other every day.
Lastly as we finish out our 2nd year of giving CrossFit to Tullahoma, we will be making chances over the next month getting ready for year 3. Below are a list of class changes and rules that we feel will help us make CFT even better.
2015 CFT Rules
1) Be on time. Members that arrive more than five minutes late will not workout and must wait until next class.
2) Listen to instructions and coaching.
3) Show up ready to work hard.
4) First ones to finish cheer on the last ones to finish, and we clean up together.
5) Help keep gym and kids area clean.
6) Encourage others to try CrossFit. Wether it be CFT of one of the 10,000+ affiliates.
7) Don't give up. Quitters NEVER win!
8) Stretch before and after class. Hydrate appropriately.
9) Ask questions if you are confused or need one-on-one help.
10) Don't cheat. No one cares if you got first if you cheated.
REMEMBER: WORKING OUT IS ONLY HALF THE BATTLE. Without proper nutrition and fueling your body with the correct foods, you will not see the results you seek!!!
We will no longer offer the 315 and 615 classes the next couple months until daylights savings time. This will allow us to have more coaches in each class to better serve all of you. Also, we will move the 101 class to 515 as well. In January our 101 class will be $35 for 4 weeks instead of the normal 2
It is going to be a great year and we hope all of you will reach your goals and be a major part of our CFT family. You guys make CFT. The building, coaches, workouts, and equipment are just a part of it but it is nothing without you our members. We love each and everyone of you and wan to see you succeed. Our gym will be as big and amazing as you let it. Come in with a desire to work and encourage each other to be the best that we all can be. Here is to 2015 The Best Year Yet!!!!!
